Chinese operators in the city of Wuhan, and in Inner Mongolia and Anhui provinces started bidding processes for IPTV equipment in July. Of the three projects, Wuhan Telecom's IPTV network is projected to accommodate 60,000 users and will use the H.264 standard. Bidders for Wuhan Telecom's deal include ZTE, Huawei, UTStarcom, Siemens, and Fiberhome Networks. Inner Mongolia Netcom and Anhui Telecom also started their bidding processes in July.
